Week-4 Challenge WOT Condition Part-2
1. What is the difference between mapped & dynamic model of engine, generator & motor.
| MAPPED MODEL | DYNAMIC MODEL |
| which the respective operation were calculated from predefined data | Which the respective operation were calculated from the internal components |
How we can chanage the model type?
Right click the respective model & go to variable manager to change the setting.
2.Calculate miles per gallon & Which factors are considered to model fuel flow?

Mainly vehicle spped, fule volume flow & batter power are need to consider for fule economy

3.Run the HEV ReferenceApplication with WOT drive cycle. Change the grade and wind velocity in the environment block. Comment on the results.
First HEV reference application in matlab command window:
autoblkEvStart

Result:

Now we can change the grade & velocity in environment block

4.Keeping all other parameters same, compare the simulated results of hybrid and pure electric powertrains.
EV MODEL SIMULATION:

RESULT:

HYBRID SIMULATION MODEL:

Result:

Conclution:
When comparing pure EV with HEV, in HEV has both IC & electrical comes into the picture.
The batter efficiency & SOC is more in Pure EV when compare to HEV.
