AIM : SOIL LOADS ON ABUTEMENT

INTRODUCTION :

1. In this challenge i have to apply soil loads on abutement of the bridge

2. in this diagram ka1 is lying on one side at 3m height and ka2 is lying at 7m height and in staad pro model i assumed height of abutement is 10m .

3. I have to calulate ka1 & ka2 and apply in sides of the abutement

PROCEDURE :

STEP 1 : Dawing reading

In this step i did reading about the drawing given in the quastion

All about the details and meaurements given in the drawing i understood about it first

STEP 2 :CALCULATION

I calculate the Ka1 & Ka2 first beacause this is very important tomake a model and apply on it

STEP 3 : Model Making
