Week 4 - 2D Meshing for Sheet Metal

Take CAD model.

1. Using topo option surface connectivity is done.

2. Geometry sheck is rum to check if there are any errors remaining in model.

3. thickness of hood is measured.

4. Surface orientation is done.

5. Midsurface is taken by using offset option. Half of the thickness value is given while taking offset. Thickness property is created.

6. Quality criteria is set. Geometry cleanup is done.

7. Meshing with 5 mm element size is done using best option in classic mesh.

8.Similar procedure is used to do mesh of other component.
