Week 3 - 2D meshing for Sheet metal

1. Geometry check is done. Geometry cleanup is done where surface are not connected.

2. Geometry sheck is rum to check if there are any errors remaining in model.

3. thickness of hood is measured.

4. Surface orientation is done.

5. Midsurface is taken by using offset option. Half of the thickness value is given while taking offset. Thickness property is created.

6. Geometry for symmetry is checked. Symmetric part surfaces are deleted.

7. Quality criteria is set. Geometry cleanup is done.

8. Meshing with 5 mm element size is done using best option in classic mesh.

9. Mesh is done as per quality criteria given.

10. By using reflect option, generated mesh is reflected to do complete mesh of hood model.
