Procedure

1. The geometry was imported from the file using IMPORT>> GEOMETRY>>"FILE NAME">>IMPORT. as shown above.

2. New Component ID was created in the database named as bracket 1. the id id was selected as set current.

3. Then mid surface was generated with the help of GEO>>MIDSURFACE>>AUTOMIDEXTRACTION >> SURFACE SELECT>>extract. prior this the setting was done to make sure that new mid will be alligned in the new component bracket 1 as defined in above step.

4. same was done to extract the mid surface from the adjecent bracket

5. The mid surface was studied and no anamoly was found out.

6. The washer element was defined at all the holes with ofset thickness 5mm.

7. Now with 2D >>AUTOMESH>>MIXED>> MESH the meshing was defined on the midsurface.

8. Now as state in the above bolt with RBE2 element was to be defined on 'd' & 'e' section and was with magnitude was to be defined as 10. so this was done with the help of ID>>RIGIDS>>CALCULATE>> MULTIPLE NODES>>CREATE. after this the masses was defined with the help of 1D>>MASSES>>CMASS1>>NODES>>CREATE.

9. After this the spring was to be defined at both f section. this was done by first constraing every node of the edge with RBE@ element and this asigning spring between them. The commands used to deploy spring was 1D>>SPRING>>CELAS>>NODES>>CREATE.

10. As stated in the question RBE2 and RBE3 was defined on 'a' 'b' 'c' points as per the degree of freedom defined in the question.

11. The corresponding BAR ROD and BEAM element is defieed as per the required position.

12. After generating this, the property was defined to create BAR ROD and BEAM element on the structure. And as per the corresponding dimensions givein in the question, crosssection was created the same ha been defined in the data base under auto component ID.

14. Finally the CBAR,CROD and CBEAM was then defined to their respective propert ID .
