Use ADVISOR tool and simulate the following
1:
For EV_defaults_in file, if cargo mass is 500 kg with all other default conditions, can the vehicle travel for 45 km with FTP drive cycle? Conclude your observations.
load file :ev_defaults_in; cargo mass set to 500;
load the drive cycle:cyc_ftp : no of cycles
observation:
the max distance that can be travelled using the vehicle model is 41.1km . so as we add the no of cycles also the vehicle model cannot travel 45km as the battery depletes at. the 41.4kms.

2:In the above case, try changing the battery capacity and repeat the simulation.
we change the battery capacity for the above case to 30
in the above simulation we have changed the battery capacity to 25 to 30 volts
as we done for the previous simuation we load the cyc_ftp drive cycle
and the no of cycles are 3 as per previous simualtion
as we can observe that as we increase the battery capacity from 25 to 30v the distance travelled by. the vehicle also increases gradually to 49.1
case 2: battery capacity increased 25 to 50v
in the above simulation we have changed the battery capacity to 25 to 50 volts
as we done for the previous simuation we load the cyc_ftp drive cycle
and the no of cycles are 3 as per previous simualtion
as we can observe that as we increase the battery capacity from 25 to 50v the distance travelled by. the vehicle also increases gradually 53.3

Perform gradeability test with PRIUS_Jpn_defaults_in file
Compare your results in table and conclude.
first we load the PRIUS_Jpn_defaults_in file which is fully electric
case1: 50 speed
speed 50kmph:
as for this model for the speed 50 the vehicle can travel 12km and the gradeability of the fully electirc vehicle is 9.7% at this speed as the speed varies the gradeability also changes
case2: 40kmph
as we can observe that at the speed 40kmph the vehicle can travel 7.4 the gradeability of this vehicle is 2.5 %
case3: speed 30kmph
as we can observe that at the speed 30kmph the vehicle can travel 7.4 the gradeability of this vehicle is 2.5 %
CONCLUSION :
1.as we increase the cargo mass to 500kg and the as per the parameters the max distance that can be travelled using the vehicle model is 41.1km . so as we add the no of cycles also the vehicle model cannot travel 45km as the battery depletes at. the 41.4kms.
2.as we increase the battery capacity of the vehicle we can observe that the distance travelled by the vehicle also increases
3.as we observe the test for PRIUS_Jpn_defaults_in file we can conclude that the gradeability is inversely proportional to the speed
