1)open the advisor tool and search the EV defaults in load file and click open.
2)advisor tool consist of vehicle modeling ,like mass,motor,transmission,vehicle storage and many more.
3)now change Ev default 500 kg in cargo mass
for default condition,
for cycle=1,vehicle travelled distance 7.5
for cycle =2, vehicle travelled distance 14.9
for cycle =3, vehicle travelled distance 22.4
for cycle =10, vehicle travelled distance 30.1

observation ans-
1.No,vehicle cannot travelled for 45 km for drive cycle.because vehicle cargo mass increase 500 kg.vehicle can travel upto 25.7 km
2.whereas, at default condition vehicle can travel upto 30.1 km.
3.so that,increase cargo mass decrease the travelled distance.
Q2. In the above case, try changing the battery capacity and repeat the simulation.

now change cargo mass 500 kg and battery capacity 20 modules.
the battery capacity below 25 module,which is 20 module

observation
1)when battery capacty 20 modules applied ,vehicle distance travelled is decrease.
2)when battery capacity 30 modules,vehicles distance travelled increased.
3) here the battery capacity 25 modules is default data.
4)If energy more distance travelled by vehicle is more,and the energy is less distance travelled by vehicle is less.
Q3)Perform gradeability test with PRIUS_Jpn_defaults_in file
Compare your results in table and conclude.
1)Open the advisor tool and search prius jpn default from load file and open.
2)click simulasion parameter,it consist of accelaration test,gradeability test and parametric study.
3)now the file CYC-FTP file drive cycle.
now perform the gradeability test.
from menu bar u can select grade option
then change the energy storage,energy storage disabled,all energy storage anble
keeping speed value 55 constant
So by varying the speed grade option menu we get the gredability percentage.
by verying the speed value we got percentage value
by varying speed 1 kmph,wegot 31.7 percentage
by varying speed 20 kmph,wegot 19.8 percentage
by varying speed 42kmph,wegot 11.3 percentage
so by keeping all system anable,speed vs gradeability is taken from advisor tool

2)so speed and gradeability inversly propostional to each other
RESULT-
1.vehicle cannot travelled for 45 km for drive cycle.because vehicle cargo mass increase 500 kg.vehicle can travel upto 25.7 km
2.whereas, at default condition vehicle can travel upto 30.1 km.
3.so that,increase cargo mass decrease the travelled distance.
