Week 3 Challenge
CATIA - Parametric Modeling Structure
We will move to this structure after getting the Class_A surface and here also ensure that all regulatory parts of Automotive Lighting Design should be meet.
It includes the Master Product File and child Products - Input Surface, BOP Parts Standard Parts, Tooling Checks, Joining Methods, B surface creation, Assembly for Joining, Child Part Joining, Final Product & Final Tooling Details. These child Products also contains the several parts where we will make our B-Surface and other surface models.

Input surface - It is the Class-A surface. It can be Optical surfce, Thermal surface or BOP surface.
BOP parts - These parts are directly purchased from the supplier. here, we will not create or manufacture it by ourselves. eg- bulb
Tooling Check - In this process, we check our products whether it is manufacturable or not by using Tooling direction.

Joining Method - It is used for joining the parts like- LENS and Housing.
B Surface Creation - here, we create the B surface of LENS, Housing, Bezel & Reflectors.
ASSEMBLY - in this, the joining method parts and the B surface parts will be joined together.
FINAL Product - It is the last process where we combine all the parts .
Final Tooling Details - It includes the Parting Line and EGP (Ejector Gate Partings)

Publication:
Publication creates the seperate link for the part & No linkage has been breaking down during further modeling operations.
