LENS (TAIL LIGHTS)

• Light bulbs on the rear of the car are contained within housings or lenses. The lens protects the bulb from moisture and breakage. As well, the tail light lens ensures the emanating light is the correct color for the light's purpose.
• The tail light is developed to the PMMA material.
• This material has 90% of transparency compared to PC (80%) material.
• Haz is less in PMMA and more clear transprancy.

INPUT SURFACE:

CLASS_A_SURFACE:

• To join all surfaces to create a single surface using the "join" command.

CLASS_B_SURFACE:

• Create a class B surface to offset 2.5 mm of the class A surface.

CLASS_C_SURFACE:

CLOSED_SURFACE:

• Combine all three surfaces to create one closed surface.

CLOSED_SOLID_BODY:

TOOLING_DIRECTION:

• Tooling direction to open the core and cavity without hitting the product.

DRAFT_ANGLE:

• Draft direction is tooling direction.
• This analysis is used to analyze the tooling direction which direction is suitable for the opening core and cavity.
