Week 14 challenge

OBJECTIVE

To assemble the individual parts of a Butterfly valve and apply GD&T to the assembly drawing.

ASSEMBLY METHODOLOGY

1. Create a new assembly part file in the desired folder bearing the desired name.
2. From the assembly tab, add existing components viz. body, stem, retainer, disc, lever, and screws of 20mm and 12mm.
3. Now use the move component command to move each part to its approximate position.
4. Use the assembly constraint command to provide constraints to the parts with the body to assemble them.
5. After assembling switch to drafting and add front, side, and rear views.
6. Apply GD&T to the important and required surfaces.
