BUTTERFLY VALVE

A butterfly valve is a type of quarter-turn valve that is used to regulate the flow of a fluid in a pipeline. It consists of a disc that is mounted on a rod, which is connected to an actuator. When the actuator rotates the rod, the disc rotates as well, allowing or blocking the flow of the fluid. Butterfly valves are commonly used in industrial applications such as water treatment, chemical processing, and HVAC systems because they are lightweight, easy to operate, and require minimal maintenance.
