Week 12:Project 2-Meshing of Rear Wheel Holder challenge
AIM:
Follow the below-mentioned quality criteria, mesh the component given below and assign thickness:
Target Element Length = 5 Units
| S.N | Quality Criteria | Value |
| 1 | Aspect Ratio | 5 |
| 2 | Skewness | 45 |
| 3 | Warping | 15 |
| 4 | Taper | 0.5 |
| 5 | Min. Length | 2 Units |
| 6 | Max. Length | 8 Units |
| 7 | Min angle Quad | 45 |
| 8 | Max angle Quad | 135 |
| 9 | Min angle Tria | 20 |
| 10 | Max angle Tria | 120 |
| 10 | Tria % | 10 |
Procedure:
1. Insert the file into the solver deck

2. Measure the thickness and ensure that the part has a constant thickness

3. Convert the component into a surface only component by deleting the solids out of the model

4. Fix any feature errors on the outer side of the model to make it ready for extraction and use duplicate offset command to generate a midsurface

5. Start meshing from the centre taking judicious care of the feature lines and creating or defeaturing necessary cons for better mesh flow

6. Keep following certain methods to ensure the best mesh flow and certain failing elements such as min length can be ignored due to geometry constraint

7. Assign the propert and material cards

8. Finish the mesh using all tools available

Results:
1. Required mesh is obtained
2. model ready for analysis
Learning outcomes:
1. Meshing of complex geometries
2. Manual midsurfacing of big geometries
3. Hands on experience of the tool
