CHALLENGE 15: CREATION OF 1D CONNECTORS
AIM:
To mesh and attach various parts of the given model using 1D connectors.
CAD MODEL:
PROCEDURE:
- Mesh the geometry by maintaining the given quality criteria.
- Create a Seam quad(angles+capped+L) weld between front truss-1 and right rail-2 by selecting a node path and specifying the required parameters.
- Create a Quad(angles+capped+L) connector between front truss-1 and left rail-2 by selecting a node path and specifying the required parameters.
- Spotweld.
- Hexa (adhesive)
- Bolt connector.
- Spotweld with rigid elements.
- Spotweld with spring elements.
- Check and edit connectors using database.
Final Model:
RESULT:
The given model is meshed and attached together using 1D connectors.
