Week 11 - Project - A pillar Design with Master Section
AIM:
To make a full solid model from the provided master section from class a surface.
- TOOLING AXIS : First create the class A surface manually analysis and fix the direction of tooling
- In this part two holes on the surface so we can directly take its perpendicular as the tooling axis because its most sutable for tooling axis.
- create an point on the surface and create new axis system
- then this intersect line is used to create the new lines on both wall lines.then the then both lines are used to create a bisecting line in tooling direction or it is zero.
- dog house is created by same core so we create separate tooling axis for tooling axis name it as side core axis.
- DRAFT ANALYSIS: draft anlalysis to fix the part in correct direction
- CLASS B SURFACE CREATION : this surface is creating by offset method
- we diectly offset the class A surface at given 2.5 mm distance in side by offset command
- some missng surface is fill with using sweep command
- trim or join the sweept surface we got it the b surface
- CLASS C SURFACE CREATION: the class c surafce is created by using class A surface
- extract the boundary tht what we are going to sweep side edges of a class a surface.
- Sweep the boundarys to the certain dimention we want
- join the class A and C surafce we got an class c surface.
- And then trim the class and class a and b surfce with respect to class c surface we got an 2.5 mm solid body
DOG HOUSE CREATION :
- first take an master section for createing the dog house to take an new plane and points are isolated for choosing the position sketch givw all dimentions to iso constrain the sketch.
- offset the dog house 2.5mm to create an solid body
- create an point on the plane to draw an hole sketch.
- give all the fillets required based on sketch.
- once completion of dog house again chekup once its is right possiton or not
