Week 11 - Final project
REPORT ON A DEVELOPMENT OF DOOR TRIM PANEL
AIM : to create the door trim panels part first then assemble them together to create door trim panel then adding engineering features accc. to requirements and giving join with additional engineering features.
Given class A surface with master sections:

STEP1 : Check the connectivity of class A surface by boundary command modify the surface as per requirement and create the tooling axis.
Step 2: Start working on assembly workbench seprate each surface out of all surface one by one to make parts like arm rest, lower substrate, lower map pocket, bottle holder.
Step 3 : create class b surface and class c surface on these part one by one and give final trim between A, B and C surface to make close surface and make solid body out of it.
Step 4: Now start working on the flange one by one following the master section and add heat stake acc. to the mastersections, attach the ribs supporting the heatstakes, all of these features are made acc. to the design rules.
Step 5: Now design the dog houses on the lower substrate part of product with push pin holes and all of these engineering features are made acc. to design rules.
Step 6: Now attach the given push pin clip inside the push pin hole on the top of the dog house by giving contraints in the assembly workbench. do the same for the otherdog house also. In this way our final door panel is developed.

Step 7: Now perform the draft analysis on the developed product with the help of tooling axis and side core axis (wherever required) as shown:
