Week 11- Assembly Workbench

Week 11- Assembly Workbench

Objective:

To create parts from the given 2D drawings, assemble two products and create 2D drawings of the output.

Process:

The individual parts were modelled in the Part Design workbench. Boolean operations were employed.

Certain Splits were also made using the Surface workbench.

The Parts were then imported into the Assembly Design workbench. A new part was created to behave as the Reference origin point and planes.

Axis and fixation points were created wherever necessary which would act as the common reference between components.

The References were fixed initially and the corresponding parts were assembled together using Contact constraints and Coincidence constraints.

2D Drafts were created for the Parts as well as the assembled product.
