Week 10 Challenge
- Based on the analysis design RC column and beam.
AIM : To design the RC columns and beams after analysis.
PROCEDURE :
To start with design, we should right click the member to be designed.
then select interactive design and select static.
let us start with columns.
after that a dialogue box appears, which shows the bar detailing and whether the member has passed or not.
repeat this process for all the columns.
in the figure ,there is a red mark which represents failure, it can be corrected by increasing the size of member or
diameter of bar.
now let us design beams.
click any one beam of the model, select interactive design and then static.
we can see a green mark here, which means there is no irregularity in the member.
repeat the same procedure for all the beams.
this beam has a red cross mark which indicates the failure, it can be corrected by either increasing the number of bars
or diameter of bar.
after designing all the members, go to review view, select status , we can see all the members have passed ,
hence analysis is correct.
