WEEK 10 CHALLENGE 3 - DOOR TRIM LOWER WITH ENGINEERING FEATURES
Draft Analysis Report
In this Challenge I took the Thickness of Component is 2.5,And perform Draft Analysis with proper Tooling Axis using Bisecting method.
In Class A Surface I perform Draft Analysis taking the value of 0.5deg(0.45 on the draft analysis display)no error is popped class A surface is completely accurate.
After Completing the final component all the thing which was required for the completion of the component all are done then Perform Draft Analysis on the final component by taking the Value of 0.5deg. After performing Draft Analysis all the engineering features like Heat Stakes and Locators are correct no error is popping there, but a slight error is found on the final component which I took the screeshot and upload it in challenge box with Catipart have a look on that.
HEAT STAKES & LOCATORS
In this challenge I have to create Heat stakes and Locators so here I would put some values which I used while doing this Challenge.
In Heat Stakes:
Height is 12mm from B surface and the diameter of heat stakes is 7mm and the hole is 5mm.
Draft is 0.5deg.and the fillet value is 0.3mm.
In 2&4 Way Locators
Height is 15mm from B surface and the thickness is taken 1.3mm(Neutral Fibre).
Draft Value is 0.5deg. and the fillet value is 0.3mm
Chamfer is also taken in both Locators the with value of 3x45deg.
Note: Counterpart clearence is not created in this challenge because After discussing with mentors during live session they told it is not necessary for this thickness of component which is 2.5.
