WEEK 11 PROJECT- A PILLAR DESIGN WITH MASTER SECTION
DRAFT ANALYSIS REPORT
In this project to perform draft analysis we create proper Tooling axis with master section and side core axis as well and then complete the project and perform draft analysis detailed report on draft analysis are submitted in challenge box in form of PPT and some images also have a look.
SOME POINTS ON THIS PROJECT
The thickness of the component is 2.5 and dog house is created with master section but the pdf and images provided by skill lync to create dog house is differ from master section ,in pdf there is a cutout on the top of doghouse i ask my mentor he said if you want to then create it but its not required but I created it and the fillet value is different from master section so i go with master section, inside fillet is not given in master section for the Doghouse nor for the ribs so i asked and give the fillets by myself in ribs and inside portion of the doghouse .
Dimensions of Doghouse and Ribs
DOG HOUSE RIBS
Thickness is 2.5 * Horizontal single Ribs thickness 1 (master section)
Draft value is 0.5deg inside portion * Both perpendicular Ribs thickness is 1.008 and
fillet outside 1.5(Master Section) * height is 6 from the horizontal ribs (mastersection)
Inside fillets 0.25 * draft value is 0.5deg and fillet value is 0.25
Doghouse wall thickness at the intersection of the part wall is given 1.2 in images but according to rules it should be 1 because component is 2.5 so I took the value 1,
And the height of 'B' is 5
