Challenge

Week 10 - Challenge 3 - Door Trim Lower with Engineering Features

draft analysis: draft is given to the part to ensure the proper ejection of part from the mold and for draft we first check the class a surface and the final part as the second draft analysis and the value of draft analysis is from 0.5-3 degree

tooling axis: tooling axis is the axis in which the mold is going to be open and for choose the position of tooling axis we have the find the circular path or plane path but for this we create the dummy tooling axis and check the draft analysis and it pass the draft analysis so our dummy is the main tooling axis

locators: so we have total 12 degree of freedom along x,y,z axis ; locators are used to strict the degree of freedom and for this we have to restrict at lest 11 dof and for creating the locators we use 3-2-1 process and create them in a triangle form and give 0.5 degree of draft and 5mm at 45 degree chamfer at the top and fillet each side with 0.3 mm radius

heat stakes: it is also known as the plastic welding the height of the heat stakes is less than the locators
