Week 10- Assembly Workbench

Generally, all the parts must be designed in the part workbench with the help of sketching tools. After the completion of part design, all the parts must be taken to the assembly ( Product ) workbench and they will be joined and arrested with each other by proper constraints.

The types of constraints in the assembly workbench are-

1. Coincidence constraint

2. Contact constraint

3. Offset constraint

4. Angular constraint

5. Fix constraint

the types of constraints used for arresting Cv joint, quick return mechanism are coincident and offset constraint.
