Week 10- Assembly Workbench

Aim :-

• To create Part Files in of the 2D drawings given.
• Assemble these parts created as per the given Mechanisms.
• At last,create 2-D drawings of the individual Part files and the Assembly files as per the given input drawings.

Methodology :-

• Created the individual Part Files using Part Workbench as per given inputs.
• Assembling the individual parts created as shown by giving the required constraints.
• At last,use Explode option to disassemble the assembly in space.
• If the required constraints were enough to keep intact the entire assembly together,then,the assembly will regain its initial state after updating and if not,then we need to give some more additional constraints between the parts.

Different commands used in Assembly Workbench are :-

• Different Constrainting Commands are used in this exercise are :- Fix,Coincidence,Offset,Surface,etc.
• For Moving of parts in 3D space :- Manipulation,Explode,etc.
• For creation and import of new products/parts :- Component,Product,Part,Existing Component,Graph Tree Reordering (for reording the Assembly Tree Structure).

Conclusion :-

Above challenge was given for the familiarization with the Assembly Workbench commands.
