Week 1- Mixing Tee

AIM : ANALYZING THE MIXTURE OF HOT & COLD AIR IN T – SHAPE PIPE.

INTRODUCTION - To check the effectiveness of the air mixture in T shape – mixture section by using the mathematical models and physical condition to the different geometry models . By using the ansys tools we will generate the graphs, contour for the given geometry. From this we can get the mixture of 2 different substance in 1 section . physical variable like temperature, velocity can change to see more effective output . practical example like AC Ducts, gas welding torch , steam boilers, gas generators etc .

Solving & Modelling approach-

Taking the two different 3D models :- 1 . Short mixing tee & Long mixing tee

First opening the work bench then add the fluent tool. Click on the geometry open via space claim . Upload the geometry model to it from file menu. Go to the prepare option select the volume extract.select the all edges then click on tick mark ,we will generate the inner volume of the 3d geometry . Select the structure tree then click left option in mouse .drop down will show the suppress the model. Deselect the shell in the tree to check the newly generated volume.
