Underbody Coating
UNDERBODY COATING
As we all use cars and know that all of the cars are made of metals. the kind of weather condition cars go through is definitely not somwthing a human can withstand on its own and hence these metal machines come in to picture.
Metals, all around the globe have one most common corrosive enemy called Rust. This is an oxidation problem which weakens metal of its properties and can cause serious problems if not rectified.
Automobiles also face the rusting problem as they face water cleaning, Rain, Humid Weather conditions etc. They are prone to rusting he most on the exterion and the under body of the car. While the exterior is protected by the paint of the vehicle, which does an excellent job for a very long time, the under body is not painted as the exterior is. There are moving parts in the under body of locomotives which need lubrications from time to time and painting them is not a feasible option.
This is the scenario where the Underbody coat comes in to picture
It is a spray or brush applied material, which on solidification forms a layer betwen the metal nad the environment around it, blocking it from everything to come in contact directly.
