To model columns for industrial steel structure using TSD

• AIM: To model column for industrial steel structure using TSD

• PROCEDURE :

1. Initially opened the tekla file which we created in the last week
2. Check the level by clicking the construction levels

• To add pedestal properties click on the manage property in the home menu, the manage property dialog box will appear

• Select the new add the concrete column the click the intersection point and the column and alignment is at centre and both end should be fixed

• AIM : To create column properties for steel column and modal column in the grid created as per assignement

• PROCEDURE :

1. In the similar way as that of concrete column create the steel column and add the required section
2. Select the ground level floor level and add steel column make sure that one end of the column is fixed and another pinned

• AIM : To create beam properties and model primary and secondary beams on the ground floor

1. Now using beam option in the ribbon tab under the model menu beams was placed at locations as required
2. IN the same way add the steel beams of required specificsaation ad the beams from end to end
