Radar Mast & Final Assembly of Yacht

Radar Mast and Yacht Assembly

Radar Mast

Yacht Assembly

Project Yacht Assembly

Objective:

This project of yacht design and I believe by working on a complex design such as a yacht

I learn more techniques and features which can help to improve my tool skills in the module.

Introduction:

It is about yacht design Made in Solidworks software. In yacht use a lot of features, surface and solid features. all part made is made from the surface feature it should meger and trim properly. module design as per proper geometric dimension and realistic and give aesthetic property

Design approach/ methodology:

Description:

Blueprint: All the blueprint imported into the Solidworks part file using the sketch picture. appropriate positioning as well as scaling of the blueprint.

Radar: Radar is used to detect other ships and land obstacles. It produces frequency around the water surface surrounding the ship. Radar model creating tool sketch, offset entities, boss extruded, fillet, extruded cut, mirror, split line.

Propeller: A propeller is a part of a transmission system it transmits the power in rotational motion. It's rotated reverse and forward too. tools using creating propeller sketch, revolved bass, loft boss, fillet, circular pattern.

Hull: Hull is the water light body of a ship or boat the hull may open at the top it may be fully or partially covered with a deck. tools using creating offset entities, convert entities, filled surface, extruded surface, trim surface, projective curve, loft delete face, fillet, chamfer, mirror, knit surface, shell.

Garage door: The garage door body was split from the hull and imported separation for modelling. the tool used for creating extruded cut, fillet, fillet, mirror.

Rear seat: Rear Seat was placed back side of the yacht. tools using for creating swept surface, trim surface, ruled surface, knit surface, extended surface, extruded surface, lofted surface, chamfer, fillet, revolved boss, extruded cut, mirror.

Front seat: Front Seat was placed in front of the superstructure on the hull it was designed after importing deck surface. tools using in the front seat swept surface, extrude surface, trim surface, filled surface, knit surface, mirror, revolved boss, fillet.

Middle seat: Middle seat was placed behind the superstructure back door. the middle seat was designed using Solidworks modelling. tools using in the middle seat offset entities extruded boss chamfer, fillet, mirror, extruded cut.

Superstructure: Superstructure is an upward extension of an existing structure a baseline is a critical part of a yacht. this is above the hull. a lot of tools using in the superstructure offset entities, convert entities, filled surface, extruded surface, trim surface, projection of curve, loft surface, extruded boss, extruded cut, linear pattern, shell, sprit body, delete a face, fillet, chamfer, mirror, swept boss, offset surface.

Radar mast: Radar mast support the radar, antennas and satellite domes and lights. it was placed in the top superstructure. tools using in radar mast offset entities, extruded boss, fillet, revolved boss, swept boss, dome, chamfer.

Assembly: Yacht part assembly so easy because of the blueprint just click the insert part and ok automatic party placed at the right place.

Rendering: Rendering is the process of colours, light and camera view selection.

Conclusion: Thus, the complete Yacht modelled in Solidworks parts and assembly.
