Project - Analysis of a practical automotive wiring circuit
Q1)
Ans:- Major elements in the above diagram are as follow.
1) battery
2) starter
3) ignition switch
4) fuel indicator
5) light switch
6) Ammeter
7) generator
8) distributor
9) Fuse
Q2)
Ans:- Battery:-
the battery is used to accept electricity store it and release it as per requirement.
as per requrement we use diffrent type of battris in diffrent application . for TV remotes we use zn carbon battery, for mobile, laptop and even vehicles we use Li-ion batteries, and for home investors, we use pb acid batteries.
battery is a collection of cells. the chemical reaction happens inside the cell and electricity flows inside the circuit. the cell consists anode, cathode, and electrolyte. where the anode is a negative which reduces eloectron it oxidized during electrochemical reaction. the cathode is a positive electron that gains electron from the external circuit. the electrolyte is a medium between the cathode and anode it uses to transfer ions between the anode and cathode.
Distributor:-
The distributor is used to distribute current to the spark plug according to the sequence.
High voltage current is supplied to the distributor. in that, there is a rotating metal stick that rotates simultaniously and makes contact with each plug connection by sequence.
when the distributor stick makes contact with the plug connection for a very short time high voltage supply is provided to the spark plug and it will generate a spark.
distributor mainly use in 3,4,6 cylinder engines.
Starter:-
A starter is a motor which use to start an engine combustion.
Solenoid is attached to the starter which use to make contact stator and flywheel. Solenoids have a coil and spring when current sully through the coil emf will generate and spring compress and attract toward the coil. the contact plate is connected with the terminal and through the terminal current will flow to start. also when the spring-compressed pivot liver is moved and the shaft of the starter is move forward and makes contact with the flywheel.
when the current supply to the solenoid is flow current to start and also makes contact with the starter shaft gear tooth and flywheel gear tooth. flywheel is connected to the crank shaft when it moves coumbusion is started and the starter are stop to rotate and disengage with the flywheel.

Q5)
Ans:-
The parking lamp and horn are connected in parallel in this circuit. because both connections are the same and both require the same voltage.
Q6)
Ans:-
Aameter and current-voltage regulator are connected in series. to check the regulated current in the circuit.
