Project - Analysis of a practical automotive wiring circuit

1) Generator

2) Generator:- It is a device which generate electric power by help of mechanical energy input.
It is used in Hybrid Electrical Vehicle to generate AC current by help of IC Engine to supply power to electric motor to mobile the vehicle.

Battery:- It is a device which is used to store Electrical Energy and supply it to electrical or electronics equipments when required.

Starter:- It is a device which is used for protection of the machine from the starting high value current. It provides a high value resistance in decreasing order to resist the high
value starting current supplying to the machine(motor or generator).

3) Fuse Rating should be in between 10A to 15A. It is recommended to have have 1.5 times of load capacity current so it should have 15A fuse.

4) Lets assume we are using 12V battery for 500W load so total capacity of battery would be
I=P/V
I=500/12 = 41.7 Amp.

5) Scaled beam and Horn is connected in parallel because it should have same voltage and same voltage only can be provided in parallel connection.

6) Ammeter and Fuse is connected in series because total current should pass through it so that ammeter can read the total amount of current and fuse can protect device as the whole current passing through it which is only possible in series connection.
