Challenge

Project - Analysis of a practical automotive wiring circuit

main elements in the given circuit are

  1. battery

  2. starter

  3. generator

  4. distributor

  5. ignition coil

  6. current and voltage regulator

  7. ammeter

  8. on off switch

  9. breaker

above are main elements of the given automotive circuit diagram

purpose and working of three elements are

battery:

stores the current in it and deliver power supply when requirement needed like to start the engine supply power to the starter other wise its a EV supply power to the electric motor.

Generator:

generator is an electrical device to convert electrical energy in to mechanical energy by the help of alternator and the produced power is stored in a battery or distributed to a load.

Ignition coil:

ignition coil is used to ignite the fuel when combustion process taken in ic engine by the help of electrical power.

If the total load is 10A from battery, what should be the fuse rating?

Once the current value has been determined, a fuse rating of 135% of the current value should be chosen (taken to the next standard value). If the normal steady-state current is 10 amps, for example, a 15A fuse should be chosen (10 amps x 135% = 13.5 amps, and the next higher standard size is 15A).

Identify any two elements which are connected in series. Why they are connected in series?

battery, starter, ammeter, on off switch and current and voltage regulator are connected in series because all are linked together if the on off switch turn on to allow the current pass to the voltage regulator and the ammeter is to connected in series to identify the current taken in the circuit

Identify any two elements which are connected parallel to each other. Why they are connected in parallel?

All lights are connected in parallel connections to work in one circuit connection but on off in different switches action
