Challenge

Project - Analysis of a practical automotive wiring circuit

1. STARTER, BREAKER, BATTERY, GENERATOR, DISTRIBUTOR, AMMETER, CURRENT AND VOLTAGE REGULATOR, JUNCTION BLOCK, IGNITION COIL, FUSE

2. BATTERY- battery is used to store the energy

AMMETER- ammeter is used to measure the current

CURRENT AND VOLTAGE REGULATOR - this regulator is used to make the current and voltage stable and maintain them in a defined value

3. For 10A load it would be better to use a 15A fuse because it depends upon the type of load, some of the inductive load may take a higher current than 10A.

4. if the load of 500 watt

than energy consumption in whole day = 500*24= 12000wh

if the battery voltage is = 12V

battery capacity = 12000/12=1000Ah

5. plate light and tail stop light are connected in parallel because they required the same voltage and the voltage will be the same only in parallel connection.

6. battery and ammeter are connected in series because the ammeter is always connected in series with the instrument which current we want to measure.
