Mobility Design Project 2033

Problems that can arise in the year 2033.
• Increase in population.
• Global warming.
• Reduced land(because of population increase and Global warming)
• Rise in Fossil fuel prices because of their non availability.

Technologies that will be there in 2033.
• New propulsion systems
• New battery technology.
• New Fuel cell technologies.
• New combustion engines with hydrogen which are safe and reliable.
• New charging infrastructures.
• New Powerplants-Possibly fusion reactors.

Target customer
• The target customer is a middle class person.
• The customer will be possibly from an emerging market like india or
china.
• These countries will adopt the electric revolution more than other
countries since they are the biggest provider of CO2.
• The governments will provide subsidies to new tech which is clean
and efficient.
• It is a good opportunity for the manufacturers

Concept
• The concept here is to design an automobile with the most of the
technologies.
• Still they should be cost effective.
• Pollution concerns pressurise the electric revolution.
• So our car is also electric.
• The design is new and sharp.
• Use lots of power efficient lighting.

• The interior is modern and minimalist.
• The steering wheel is not round-Small rotation of it will enable the full turning of the wheels.
• The car has four wheel steering and four wheel drive.
• One LCD Panel covers the full dashboard.
• The dashboard and Central tunnel are made from one piece carbon fibre.This will improve the rigidity of the monocoque chassis.
• The rear view camera is given instead of rear view mirror.
• It is electric,so accelerator and brake pedal only is there.
• The gear selector selects the driving modes.
• All the controls for A/C, Navigation, Playback etc can be selected using either steering mounted switches or touch screen panel.
