Project 2 - 2D meshing on the instrumental Panel

Aim: To generate mid surface of the plastic model and mesh the component

Procedure:

1. Impot the model

2. Set peremeter length to 1mm

3. Perform geometry checks

4. Remove all the errors from the surface

5. Extract mid surface for the whole model

6. Assign thickness to the mid surface extracted

7. Set quality parameters

8. Initiate batch run

9. Improve the mesh whereever possible

10 Capture the dog house in following manner

11. In the following areas distamce between two triple cons is very less as a result error elements cannot be removed

12. Here distance is less than the required quality criteria

Conclusion:

% tria = 5.2% <15%

% erroe elements = 0.236% <3%
