Week- 5 - Solid meshing
Aim: For the given rear view component model check for the geometrical errors and mesh the model.
Procedure:
- Upload the model
2. Give a peremeter length of 1mm so that a fine geometry can be obtained
3. Perform topo and join all single cons
4. Perform geometry check and eleminate all errors
5. Go to properties and check different components
6. Start with components one at a time
7. Ball Joint
8. Give quality criteria and mesh attributes
9. From the below we can see that the mesh will fail for minimum length so, we supress the cons to capturee the feature
10. Perform mesh with trias on flat surface and ortho tria on curved surface
11. After that give volume mesh with tetra rapid mesh
12. Do the above steps for the other components as well.
