Project 2

Aim of this project is to model a membrane roof with cables by form finding and create the cutting patterns of the structure.

1. Create a new model using the new model option.

2. Name the model as desired, change all the parameters unit dimensions.

3. Select the node line option create the nodes to get the shape of the structure.

4. Assign the member properties from the edit member option.

5. Assign the loads from the generate load option.

6. Now Generate the FE mesh.

7. Select the form finding option and edit the cutting patterns for cutting the desired shape.

8. Run the analysis.
