Aim:

Design and Draft a layout of a residential building

Introduction:

Develop the following: 1. Architectural Drawing (Floor Plan, Elevations, and Sections)

2. Structural Drawing (Column, Bean, Footing Plan)

Procedure:

1. Draw the plot line and set the directions.

2. Draw the Planning as per the Basic Vastu and the House Facing.
   • 
3. Draw the Doors as required in the plan.
   • 
4. Annotate all the spaces as per the planning.
   • 
5. Draw the Section lines one Horizontal and one vertical.
   • 
6. Draw the Front Elevation Plan as per the Architectural Plan.
   • 
7. Hatch the Front Elevation wall
   • 
8. Hatch the Column which are visible.
   • 
9. Hatch the parapet wall.
   • 
10. Hatch the windows.
    • 
11. Draw Section A:
    • 
12. Provide Details for Section A.
    • 
13. Draw Section B.
    • 
14. Detailed Section B.
    • 
15. Now Draw the Structural Drawings.
16. Arrange the Column Orientation on the Architectural Plan.
    • 
17. Centerline the columns and define the dimensions.
    • 
18. Now draw the Beam plan as per the column Placement.
    • 
19. Centerline the columns and Beams & define the dimensions.
    • 
20. Now Draw the Footing Plan and make offset of 300 mmm to the column section.
    • 
21. Now Draw the Centerline and Show the required Dimensions.
