Project 1 : CFD Meshing for Tesla Cyber Truck

Aim - Clean geometry tesla cyber truck, perform surface mesh and make wind tunnel around it. 

Procedure - First delete half part of truck, in order to delete half part we have to make cut from middle by using project cut option. 

After deleting half part, in both wheel part there is unnecessary surface persent we have to delete this surface and make seperate volume for the truck and tyres. 

At the front part of the truck and inside the front tyre of the truck there are two distorted surface there, created intersection error. Make it clear with the intersect, cut, delete surface, make new surface. 

In this model some surface are missing which is required so we to delete that surface. 

Clean model image 

Assigning PID :-

 There are only three PID 

1. Windows
2. Rims & tyres
3. Body

Meshing :- Target lenght for all three PID's are as follows -

• Windows = 2 mm 
• Rims & tyres = 2 mm
• Body = 3 mm

Making of wind tunnel :-

In this case i were taken distance from base of the truck to the bottom surface tunnel 400 mm,and the front,rear surface of tunnel is four times of half truck distance.

  

Result :- cyber tesla truck geometry clean and meshed.
