Complete assembly of Core and Cavity blocks

Draft analysis
Draft analysis is done at 0.5 degree draft angle and it was found that all exterior surfaces were getting cleared. There were some holes at the top section which will not get cleared in the main tooling axis. So, side core will be required for clearing them.

Scaling model

Plastic material to be used is ABS. So taking into account 0.6 % of shrinkage and upscaling the model uniformly by 1.006.

Parting line
Parting line separates the core and cavity block. So created one at the bottom surface edge.

Shut-off surfaces
4-Holes are covered using shut-off surface to complete close the surfaces.

Sliders as side-core are used for creation of holes.

Bolts with washer are used to constrain the core and cavity blocks.
