Photo Realistic Rendering
REPORT ON ASSEMBLY OF CHOPPER MODEL
DESIGN OF AMECIRAN CHOPPER USING SOLIDWORKS
OBJECTIVE :
The objective of the project is to model an AMERICAN CHOPPER using the SOLIDWORKS software and to render it with SOLIDWORKS visualize to create a photorealistic view of it.
INTRODUCTION :
This project explains the designing of American chopper using the SOLIDWORKS from sketych parts and modelling them to final rendering of the assembly to give a photo realistic view.
METHODOLOGY :
1. Part modelling
2. Assembly
3. Rendering
FLOW CHART :

PART MODELLING:
In part modelling, first the 2D sketch of the part is sketched using the tool in sketch tab and them the 2D sketch is converted into a 3D part using feature in the feature tree tool.
FEATURES USED :
BOSS EXTRUDE : This tool is udes to expande the object in 3D according to sketch palne.
EXTRUDE CUT : Extrude cut tool used to cut/remove the 3D Object in the linear path according to sketch.
FILLET : Fillet feature used to makeing round internal and external edges and make it them smooth.
DOME : Dome feature used to make a dome shaped extrude.
LOFTED Boss/Base : Lofted boss base is used to using the complex shapes, It does this by interpolating surfaces betwwen various cross-sections of a model. These cross-section can be sketch, faces,or edges.
COMBINE : Combine tool is used to make a integration of solid bodies which is intersect each other as a same solid part..
LINEAR PATTERN : The linear pattern feature is used make a different number of instances required to make a pattern linearly.
CHAMFER : Chamfer is used to make a sharp edges to a tapered rather than being a perfect square.
SHELL : Shell feature is used to make a hollow space into a solid parts.
CURVE DRIVE PATTERN : This feature is used to make a followed by curve is sketched before.
CRICULAR PATTERN : This feature is used to make a 3D sketch into a cricular pattern according to number of insistences.
REVOLVE Boss/Base : This feature is used to make cylinderical cricular 3D extruded along with a given references axis as per sketch.
REVOLVE CUT : This feature is used to cut or reduce the extrude of cylindrical round shapes.
MIRROR : Mirror is used to copy the 3D body to one place to anothe place.
SWEEP : This feature is used to make a swwep of any kind of fully defined sketch along with th path.
SWEPT CUT : Which makes a cut along with the sweep path.
SWEPT SURFACE : It is used to make a surface along with a path the curve is driven.
BOUNDARY SURFACE : This feature is used to make a surface in between two finished surfaces.
LOFT SURFACE : Loft surface is used to make loft betwee the two profiles along with the guide path.
SURFACE TRIM : This used to cut away material from a surface, and provides two modes, standard and mutual.
PROJECTION CURVE : Projection curve is a 3D curve which is basis of two different 2D curves in two different planes.
TRIM ENTITIES : It is used to make unwanted lines or extended enities in the sketch.
APPEARANCES : Apperances defines visual properties of the model including colour and texture.
ASSEMBLY :
Assembly is modt often referred to putting components together in an assembly line, but more specifically, it refers to creating a complete prodduct that performs an intended function. Changes in the component are automatically reflected in the assembly.
RENDERING :
Rendering or image synthesis is the automatic process of generating a photorealistic or non photorealistic image from a 2D or 3D model using a computer program.Theresulting image is referred to as the render.
MAJOR CATEGORIES IN RENDERING :
1. Real - Time Rendering
