this structure protect wheel and engine compartment it plays major role in pedstrian safety also.

Wheel arch regulations are made by their contry, goverments, regions as well as road safety authority. These regulations made
acccording to their road codition and driving envoirment. it deffers country to country.
some regulations as given below.
US :-
In US 5 mm clearance between tyre and fender, 21 check ponts, it starts from 0 degree to 100 degree
each pont divided into 10 degree.
Europ :-
In european countries they measures, greater than 10 mm clearance from fender to wheel from vertical center
line 30 degree forward and 50 degree reverse and 150 mm height from centerb horizontal axis line.
Japan :-
In japan they also have own standrds, greater than 5 mm clearance from tyre to fender from 30 degree
forward and 50 degree reverse from vertical center axis.
