Fender Design Challenge

Aim:

To design the Drip area,Sill Mount, Bumper Mount, A-Pillar Mount fender part of the car

Procedure:

* The Model is being downloaded from the Given Link.

* Only The A-surface given in this model, we need to create the Sill Mounts, Bumper Mounts, A-Pillar Mount.

* In order To begin, create the Geometrical set for creating the Extracts.

* We should create the Multiple extract on the Above Boundary lines, so that it will be easier to make the parallel curve.

* Use Parallel Curve for 5 mm and thus the Parallel curves are created.

* Then We need to create some Curvy surfaces for creation of Mounts.

* Make sure that we should do one-by-one for creation of the splits.

* And Join all the lines together by Giving Join Option.

* Note that there will be tiny gap for creating the Join, So that Use Line to Join The Points so that the Join will be created.

* Repeat the process for all the lines, so that Mounts Will be created for Mounting.

* Then, We need to create the Drip area and A-Pillar Mounts.

* In order to create the Drip Area, we should create the sweep by using the extract we have already taken.

* Sweep upto 8 mm for 40 degrees, then 5 degrees for 20 mm, perpendicular sweep for 25 mm, and then sweep 45 Degrees for 3 mm and flat surface for 2 mm and then again 45 degrees for 2 mm.

* Split The excess Surfaces of the mount.

* The, Create the Part body for 0.75 mm. Then the part is created.

* Create the Holes, make sure that the diameter should be around 6 mm and the gap between the two holes, for creating the bolt connections.

* Use the fillets for creation of Edge fillets to bring the curved surface.

* And Thus, The Draft analysis is performed.
