Fender Design
Design of FENDER
FENDER
Fenders are the part of an automobile or any other vehicle body that frames a wheel well (the fender underside). Its primary purpose is to prevent sand, mud, rocks, liquids, and other road spray from being thrown into the air by the rotating tire.

TYPES OF FENDER
Fender is of two types
- Full Bumper type
- Half Bumper type

Full Bumper Type
Full Bumper type fenders are not used nowadays because it requires large size blank to produce the part since it occupies more space and wastage of materials is high while manufacturing.
Half Bumper Type
While manufacturing Half Bumper type fenders, two fenders can be produced at the same sheet by placing it opposite to each other. These type fenders are comparatively less in weight and cost efficient. Also here the wastage of material is low.
