Door Arm Rest Week 8 Challenge
AIM : To Create the Class B and Class C surfaces form the given class A surface of the door arm rest and to Draft analysis the surface of the given
model
Procedure:
1. Check for any kind of surface openings using the boundary feature. Fix the open surfaces if any.
2. Create two tooling axes for the component as shown below.
1. Create a point with respective to the surface base

2. create a axis system on the point

3. create the intersection using the axis on the given class A surface

4. create a point to point line for bisecting the tooling axis

5. create the tooling axis to clear the mian core axis

6. create a side intersection to clear the side core

7. main tooling axis to clear the draft angle

8. side tooling axis to clear the draft angle

9. creation of calss B surface

extract the specific face to perfom the part creation and untrim it and make extrapolate at required places

10. trim the unwanted faces

11. take another set of faces to create the class B surface

extrapolate the faces requried

trim the unwanted faces for fillets

12 now extract the particular face and untrim and extrapolate the face

13. now create a point on the center of the part and create the axis system in it

create the intersection with class A surface part and draw the angle to the tangent to the intersection line.

multiple extract the line as shown in the picture

make the smooth cuve of the line to extract

now sweep the line with multiple extract lines
create the two points to make the angle cut to join sweep surface

split the line with the surface

use the blend option to connect sweep surface and before part

now trim all the parts

now entire class B surface is created and make the 2.5mm offest for thickness
14 . create class C surface

create the class C surface on the each edge using the sweep command, create flat edge with 3deg draft angle and complex edges are connect with the normal sweep with profile and path and other connecting will we done using the multi section surface with guide curves

join the all the surface

check the surface for continutie surface using the boundary surface to check

confim the all the surface is closed surface
15. class A and class C surface

16.trim combined class A and C with class B

ensure the body is fully closed before to create a close part

17. move to the part design to make the close surface

tree structure

according to the main tooling axis the part clear the ejection angle part
accoring to the side tooling axis it clears the side core ejection part
