Door Arm Rest Week 8 Challenge
Objective: To create class B & C surface for the given class A surface of door arm rest using Catia V5R21 with engineering standards and also to perform the draft analysis on both class A surface and whole component by creating a tooling axis.
Procedure:
1. Perform connectivity check for the class A surface.

2. Create tooling axis using bisecting line method.

3. Perform draft analysis for the class A surface, adjust the tooling axis so that it satisfy the draft analysis.

4. Create class B surface by extracting the surfaces and extrapolate them.

5. Trim the excess portion of the surfaces and obtain the exact surface required for door arm rest.
6. Create class C surface by extracting the edges of the class A and extract the surfaces using sweep and multisection surfaces with 3deg draft angle.

7. Join all the class C surfaces with A surfaces and trim the join with the class B surface and obtain the final door arm rest and perform a boundary check to know whether any edges were present in the component.

8. Close all the surfaces enter into the part design workbench and use close surfaces command to convert surfaces into solids.

9. Perform the draft analysis for the final component.

10. Publish all the class A,B & C surfaces, Tooling axis and the side core axis.
