Creation of Multiple viewports, Scaling the drawing and setting in Template in AutoCad

1. AIM: To create the layout of a plan and section.

Procedure:

The floor plan:

The elevation drawing;

• Go to layout tabs
• Turn on the layout tab
• Go to Layout in the ribbon
• Click on new
• Select template m.Arch .dwt
• Insert the template
• To adjust the size of icon use UCSICON command
• The template text can be editted by using ATTEDIT.
• Create a rectangle using rectangle tool according to the dimension given there
• Enter MVIEW command
• Select "OBJECT"
• Select the rectangle
• Then the model is inserted
• To adjust :command 'MS' Model space
• To scale it there is an option on the left corner of the screen
• Similarly all the sections are created according to the dimensions given:

• Now the viewport is created.
• The models are scaled as 1:50
• Template used: Tutorial mArch.dwt
• The viewport can also be created using insert option by saiving the view selected

2. AIM:Create a layout of kitchen drawn.

Procedure:

To create a layout of a kitchen drawn in challenge 9

1. Go to view and turn on the layout
2. Now draw a frame using line tool
3. Join the lines make it as a joined fram
4. Enter MVIEW command
5. Select 'object'
6. Select the frame made for the given section
7. Press enter
8. Now give a scale of 1:1
9. Similary make another frame for each viewports .
10. 
11. Select the viewport
12. Enter 'MS' model space command for scaling each viewport
13. For the layout adjustment enter 'PS' paper space
14. Scale each viewport
15. So the layout of kitchen is created.

3. AIM: Create a layout of section view of industrial building

Procedure:

Section view of industrial building

1. First of all, go to view
2. Turn on layout
3. Go to layout
4. Take a plot
5. Divide it to 3 parts
6. Enter 'MVIEW' command
7. Select object
8. The drawing will appear
9. Scale of 1:100 is given
10. To adjust the section use PAN
11. Select the second section
12. Scale it as 1:30 as given
13. Similarly scale the third section

Now all teh viewports are created

The layout is created and scaled
