After creating the walls verify using the property browser to see if the top and bottom of the walls are constrained.

Aim:-

To add wall based on the floor layout and select appropriate material and thickness for walls.

Introduction:-

  • Floor and Walls will be the initial elements to the model.
  • In Revit software, there are several materials and options available.

Procedure:-

Step 1:-

  • Create new model from Architectural Template.
  • Create Floor plan, by using architecture Tab as shown below.

Step 2:-

  • In Architecture Tab, select Wall tool to draw a wall.

Connecting Walls with Levels:

According to my observation connecting walls with associated levels being beneficial as if we change the levels automatically even the walls height will be changed.

b. Which option is convenient for modeling walls, By Height or By Depth?

Both are convcenient, but i prefer By Height Option. In this option Base of wall will be remain same.

3) Copy the model elements ( wall, floor ) modelled to Ground Floor Level and paste it aligned to First Floor Level . Use modify tab to utilize copy and paste options to align
elements to a different level

Aim:-

To Copy the model elements from Ground Floor Level to First Floor Level.

Introduction:-

  • Copying method is the easiest way to develop a muti-storey building.
  • While the Same floor plan repited to the other levels.
