Creating Bar Bending schedule, Different Door types, and Creation of standard drawing templates using AutoCad

AIM:

1. Create the templates as shown in Figures. Take the size of the title block as per industry standards or you can assume it as per the size of the paper. Use text and attributes wherever required. After creating the title block you need to save it as a block with names: Custom1_titleblock and Custom2_titleblock, respectively.

2. Create the doors type for warehouse as shown in the Figure. You need to create each door type as per standard size or given dimensions. Create the blocks of this door type after creating them.

3. Create each symbol as a block with the name given in the legend. After creating the blocks arrange them in the legend as shown in the Figure.

4. Create the door type for residential building as a block. Save the name of the blocks as type. Use given dimensions or assume dimensions as per industry standards.

5. Create each shape as a block as shown in the Figure. Save the block and insert them on the table as shown in the Figure.

PROCEDURE:

1.

for table 1:

create table and write text using dtext command change the line colours from properties of the given line.

NOW give block command bl and give name custom_1title block and selecth the table and pick a pick point anywhere and save the block.

for table 2:

create table and write text using dtext command

NOW give block command bl and give name custom_2title block and selecth the table and pick a pick point anywhere and save the block.

then click ok.

2. create the door using line offset rectangle and copy command .

then go to block definition command bl

give the name door 1 and select the insertion point anywhere and select the object that is the door and press enter . and then save the block.

create the door using line offset rectangle and copy command .

then go to block definition command bl

give the name door 2 and select the insertion point anywhere and select the object that is the door and press enter . and then save the block.

3. create each symbol and save it as a block with the name given in the legend .

then draw a rectangle and explode for the table and insert the block using insert command and from the insert tab go to the field selet object and select the block and then select name and insert in the table .continue the steps for the legend.

similarly insert all the blocks with names and using dtext command give the heading .

4. Create the door types using line rectangle offset and circle .

now assign all of them to blocks different according to given names as D1,D2,D3,D4,D5 AND D6.

IN THIS WAY SIMILARLY CREATE ALL THE other doors as blocks.

5.Draw the symbols and create blocks of each symbol in the table

in this way create blocks of all the symbols in the table.

now create table and insert the symbols or blocks in the table. using insert cpmmand.

now add text to the table. using dtext command.
