Benchmarking
Benchmarking is a comparison between the exciting model and our(company) model. It may be comparison between the parts, comparison between process or performance. This will be done in the same business area with competitors to grow their business in better than others. The benchmarking will be done in technically and non-technically. If this will be done in technically that will be between parts, process and their performances or services. If non-technically means by the feedbacks of the consumers of the competitor product or service.
By doing all this comparison we will get to that what customers need and what others was providing. Then we will know what would be our product or process feature to get the intension of the customers in the same or approx. price of the competitor goods. It will be done step by step of the that means we initially create the product with our own design (like a prototype) then we need to compare it with others product. Like what they are providing in their product what we are lacking and what we need to competition to them or how we can provide better than their product.
It will be different according to the industries. If we take automobile(cars) industries, they will conduct some bench marking tests according to the requirement. They will compare the mileage, power transmission, seating capacity, safety rating, weight, interior design and exterior design, boot space, no. of airbags present and price of the competitor with that specifications. In automobile industry they are lot of aspects to check the vehicle while benchmarking. But initially every customer will check the safety and comfort in the vehicle. This comparison will be done with good and bad products in market with similar feature or competitor products. Because good products will give what customers need and bad products will give what they are hating in that product or service. In overall view we will find that what we can capable in that similar or lesser priced product manufacture with better features product.

conclusion:-
In this comparison we made a benchmarking between them now after manufacturing. It will done before manufacturing at beginning of design itself will be happens. As per the benchmarking results we will suggest the Renault kiger for regular life style people to use them for office, local trips and family purpose because of mileage, price, boot capacity and more. We may suggest ford ecosport for long travels and good comfortability. Because of engine capacity, fuel tank capacity and design of vehicle. But, as per pughazhyhendhii requirement I may suggerst them kiger because he need mileage and more space for family. He travels just once in month to his native place Madurai(500km) no need high power or torque. He will manage with kiger in his budget. And also he likes big cars. Renault kiger will be best choice to him for his small family and his requirements.
