AUTOMOTIVE BENCHMARKING:

• Benchmarking in the automotive industry is a comparison between similar products, services or processes on some dimensions performance. This type of benchmarking is used compare the availability and improve the features of a product with help of consumer tests and reviews.
• Automotive benchmarking have 2 types: 1) Benchmarking-I, 2) Benchmarking-II.
• In benchmarking-I is provide the detailed analysis of anyone of the feature or process of the product for the purpose of improvemnt.
• In benchkmarking-II is give the detailed view of the product parts and specifications.

• Mr. D.S. Pughazhyendhii is a married man who lives in bangalore which is a highly crowded city. So crowded cities like bangalore automatic gear transmission is suitable but due to the budget of 8 lakhs to 10 lakhs the manual transmission is preferred.

COMPARISON OF 4 CARS:

• The comparixon of power transmission the Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV300 is better than other two cars.
• Fuel economy of maruti FRONX is best than other 3 cars. But for the comfortable and long travel specifications are better in Tata nexon.
• The front and rear suspension is very good in Tata Nexon. In front suspension Nexon have independent, lower wishbone, McPherson strut with coil spring and the rear suspension have Semi-independent, closed profile twisted beam with coil spring and shock absorber.
• Tata Nexon and Maturi FRONX have electric steering. It is superior to power steering. Electric steering provides better fuel efficiency than power steering.
• Ground clearance of Nexon is better than other cars. It had 209mm ground clearance value. And also gives 350 litre bootspace.
• Mahindra XUV300 have a disc brake in front and rear. Other tree had disc in front wheel and drum brake in rear wheel.
• Wheel size of Hyundai Venue is 15 but other three cars have 16.
• Nexon have a additional feature of multi driver mode: ECO/ CITY/ SPORT is help to drive conveniently.
• Interior design and features of Nexon is better than other three cars. But the exterior design and features of Maruti FRONX is much better than other cars. Nexon is second best for exterior design.
• Safety measures of the Nexon is better than other cars. And also Maruti FRONX have a reverse parking sensor to help when we parking.
• For the above 4 cars comparison the Tata nexon is more suitable for Mr. D.S. pughazhendhii. Because for his requirement cases basis. If we want only the city use maruti FRONX is much better for other 3 cars. But he need also for the long travel purpose so Tata nexon is much suitable for him.
• Tata Nexon XE is the better model for Pughazhyendhii. It offers better stability and performance compared to other models and budget limit of 10lakhs. Maruti FRONX provides better features and mileage but Nexon provides the reliability and comfort of passengers.
