What is Benchmarking?
Benchmarking is nothing but technical term for the word "comparison" used in Automotive sector.Benchmarking plays an important role in predesign and developement of a new car.There are two types of benchmarking used in predesign and development of car.
1.Benchmarking I: In benchmarking I the comparison of cars in the market is done in the car assembly level.
2.Benchmarking II: In benchmarking II the comparison of cars in the maket is done with the new car concept in the part level after detail study.
