• What is benchmarking?
• BENCHMARKING is the technical word for comparing two products which are similar in work and price. basically, benchmarking is done in all organization for comparing our products to the competitor.
• In others words we can say it is process of comparing two products on the bases of service on the bases of cost and on the basis of maintenance or performance and another factor also.
• It also increases the efficiency of the organization.

Example - Benchmarking we done in our daily life during purchasing something like according to our budget we buy anything’s.

Like: if I’m going to purchase any car so the first this I have to do comparison to the similar cars like which car services is good and performance is good which car is good in safety and mileage good also comfortable, in which car features is good compare to others car and second this is the good in budgets after that anyone by car. So company’s do the benchmarking for providing and fulfil the costumers demand and want product best than others.

After that I will decide which car is good for me, if I’m living in rural area so I should by low maintenance car if I’m living in hilly area or in city so I have to by different car for different area.

1. INTERNAL BENHMARKING: In this benchmarking we compare same company product or compare services and performance product in same company from different branches.
2. EXTERNAL BENCHMARKING: In this compression others company is the competitor and there products also. So, we manufactured all the products best for the market according to the customer requirement in costumers’ budgets compare to others company.
